This work was made in 1990 by the sculptor Luciano Bertoli. Its name is “The Space of Memory”. This sculpture wants to remember everyone who died during the war in the last century.

The monument to memory was created near the old S. Martino castle, where before there was an other ancient monument, made by the Italian artist Prampolini.

The monument is composed by stone, mosaics and river’s stones. The monument colours are pink, whitish and grey and change continually in relation to the condition of light.

The artist would give to this monument a form of flower.
