Material : Glass

Description : A giant female marathon runner, made out of big sheets of broken glass.

Artists : Kostas Varotsos, Sculptor and prof. At the Univ. of Thessaloniki. He was born in Athens 1955, he studied at the “Accademia di belle arte” Rome, Italy, Architecture at the Univ.of Pescara, Italy and at the “Fullbright Grant” New York, U.S.A.

His works have been presented in many exhibitions personal or not.

His glass-sculptures are situated in various cities of the world, but most of them in Greece and Italy.

Place where it is situated : It was situated in Omonoia square, but later has been transffered at the Vas.Sofias avenue, near to the Athens Hilton hotel.
